A Rockridge ramen spot and Bay Area institution founded in 2012 by Chez Panisse alumni Jerry Jaksich, Sam White, and Rayneil De Guzman, who bring the same dedication to seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients to every bowl. All noodles are made fresh in-house using a Japanese noodle machine brought over piece by piece from Sapporo, while broths simmer away in the open kitchen.
